Somehow add to cart and my home page disappeared

I have not really focused on my website, nor checked it recently. I just received a message from a customer saying he wanted to buy a helicopter kaleidoscope but could not figure out how.

So I went to my website, http://www.KaleidoscopeGalaxy.comand saw right away the add to cart buttons completely disappeared

AND my home page that had photo's has also disappeared to a black box.

I have not changed anything at all - since I have not really focused on it in months. Any ideas what on earth could have happened to the add to cart buttons and home page and why it happened?

In the past I had someone from upwork - do the update and fix something else. Anyone have a recommendation of someone who might fix it if its not a simple fix. Thanks a bunch.

Recommend checking the logs folder for the latest myDebug log(s) as they may reveal part of the issue, the other may be that the PHP version was probably increased to a recent version that is also probably not compatible with ZC 1.5.5.

Zen Cart 1.5.5 runs on (up to) PHP 7.1, which is out of support now.

So as @mc suggests, your hoster might have updated your PHP version underneath you (to 7.3 or 7.4), and that would indeed break your site. Time to upgrade!

Ah so yes I have a million and one debugging issues, ugh. And yes - apparently my PHP is 7.36 and I am using version 1.5.5b. When I click in my admin on latest version it says I have the latest version though. Is there a quick fix to this that a someone not very tech savvy like myself can do? I clicked your link and am not clear....from what I am reading there - Thanks a bunch to those of you who responded:-)
