Shipping issues - multiple zones? Can I use a state in a zone? USPS probs?

Hey all,

Long time Zencart user. As shipping goes up I have more people who want media mail and my zone rate to estimate a general price isn't working well anymore.

I tried to duplicate the zone.php module to zone-media.php and it messed up my existing zone rate because I think I need to change all the class names

For the zone.php it would be nice to split east coast states and west coast states as priority mail is way more expensive there and I'm not sure if I can do this as the line for zones are countries I think.


Last year I signed up for the USPS API key so I use that user I got back in November but it doesn't seem to work -

Ok spent some time and got zone2.php working from a download from someone. It works fine but is kludgy.

My USPS module was from 2013 so I upgraded it and it works sometimes but sometimes gives a full 500 error on checkout.
