What needs to done to have the Update Database button To Show On /zc_install ?

1.58a on php 8.2.4
Can someone please explain the exact requirements to get the "update database" button to appear at a new site at /zc_install to get my old 1.54 database up to current?

For some reason I thought I had it figured out completely recently but i keep failing to see the button after following many steps these 2 days.

I completed the installation first then I visited the 2 new configure files built and changed the location to the older database I like to upgrade and got nothing but a clean install button even though the old database is present in my mysql database and my phpadmin.

Any suggestions or advice in much appreciated.

You were right. I solved my issue. Was pointing to incorrect database. Time to do some file cleaning. Thank you!
