Single Column Status

Version 1.5.8a, clean installation with Clone Template mod.

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, but the 'Single Column Status' option seems to have been removed from the sideboxes/search_header.php section of Admin Layout Controller, and there's no way to turn off the header search box from Admin.

I'm not sure which template you've cloned (the current Bootstrap template provides this), but see this (https://github.com/zencart/zencart/pull/5429) change that's now baked into zc158a.

I cloned the Responsive Classic template. I guess I can turn that search box off in the stylesheet.

I went to line 15 in includes/modules/sideboxes/search_header.php and changed true to false. Seemed to work.

If you are using a clone of responsive classic, go to includes/templates/responsive_classic/template_info.php and edit the following line to be true
