Default Down For Maintenance (How to fix)

    Greetings,

I am using ZC 155f, I copied the database to another database before i work on it so i have the original working DB, when i was done i did not like the change i made (changes made in related products table only) and i went back to the original database by renaming it to the original name, now it shows the admin and the store front in "Maintenance Mode".

I checked the configuration table, in it the configuration_value = 'false' where configuration_key = 'DOWN_FOR_MAINTENANCE'.
What should i do to get the site up and running. Thanks a bunch.

The site is not in maintenance mode, the database credentials in the site's /includes/configure.php and/or /admin/includes/configure.php aren't referencing the site's live database.

Thanks for the reply, both files shows the correct database. Now, when i rename the database and rename it back to the original name, do i loose any credentials?

Not knowing the intricacies of the method you used for the renaming, I'll have to go with probably based on the current website display.

If your webhost provides a cPanel interface, navigate to your MySql databases and make sure that the database user, password and server settings in your two configure.php files match what the webhost's configuration indicates.

Thanks a lot for steering me in the right direction.
i found out the user which been in the configuration files for ever has disappeared from the MySql database,
all i did is rename the database twice and the web host support said: "that should not remove the user name from the MySql". and they added the correct user and it is working now.

I appreciate your help and my web host support help, you guys got my back. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for reporting back that, with the "proper" database credentials, the site's back up.
