UPS XML will stop working June 2024 (here's new OAUTH module)

Beginning June 2024, authentication to UPS APIs using access keys will be deprecated in favor of an OAuth 2.0 security model. All new and existing API integrations must migrate to the OAuth 2.0 to continue to access the APIs. View the OAuth Migration Guide for more details on the impacts to your API integration with UPS.

Changes to API Authentication:
UPS has deprecated access key authentication in favor of an OAuth 2.0 security model for all APIs. Beginning June 3, 2024, access keys will no longer be supported for authentication to any UPS APIs. After this date, all integrations must utilize the OAuth 2.0 authentication model to continue to transact with UPS APIs. Please ensure your integration has migrated to OAuth 2.0 as soon as possible to prevent future service disruptions and view the OAuth migration guide for more details on the impacts to your API integration with UPS.

Received a message last week from UPS titled "Urgent: 2 Months Left to Complete Your UPS API Changes"

What this means for you:

- If you're using UPSXML, now's the time to switch to UPS OAuth.

you will need to work with your developer to build a new solution.
Note: This applies to XML, SOAP, or legacy JSON payloads.

you will need to work with your developer to build a new solution.

- If you use a third-party API provider like RocketShipIt https://www.rocketship.it/ or Shippo
you will need to have your developer contact them to figure out what changes are required.
