Hi All,

I have this error coming up when I submit my site map via admin.

cURL Error: Error http_code "404" reading "https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.outdoorking.com.au%2Fsitemap.xml"
Sitemaps ping is deprecated. See https://developers.google.com/search...s-lastmod-ping.

Sitemaps ping is definitely deprecated, so the ping is not accepted. I was going to peek at your site and see if your robots.txt declaration was correct and such, but you should probably handle this first.

Hi!

Make sure the sitemap URL configured in Zen Cart is correct, then ensure that the URL for your sitemap is correct and accessible. Also check cURL Configuration: is your server has the cURL extension enabled and properly configured? You may want to check if cURL is working correctly on your server. You can do this by running a simple cURL command from the command line:
curl -I https://www.google.com

If cURL is not installed or misconfigured, you may need to consult with your hosting provider or server administrator.

I could only find this file in the directory which is robots_example.txt

I have uploaded the robots.txt file and see what happens now.

It appears that google has now started indexing the pages of the site.
