Thank you so much for your help. I have changed the details to GB and it has worked.

I am getting this message 'The shipping rate cannot be determined at this time' but it does allow me too complete the sale and go all the way to the payment stage.

Would i be getting this message because i am offering free postage for this zone?

Depends. As indicated in post #7 above, if the order's weight is > 7kg there won't be a price to apply.

Am i able to have it where there are a variety of pricing options per zone?

Like, for the UK... i want free postage for anything under 2kg and then i want to charge postage for anything between 2.1kg to 7kg

In the shipping rates how would that be written?


OR..... could i use the free shipping option in the shipping section to allow free shipping for anything under 2kg for Zone 1 (UK)..?

Yes, the various pricing options are available. If you still want the Zones shipping module to give quotes for orders with a weight > 7kg, set the pricing for the GB zone to something like:

2:0,7:10.50,9999:14.99


That will charge UK/GB destinations as free for weights < 2kg, 10.50 for weights >= 2kg and < 7kg and then 14.99 for weights >= 7kg.

Thank you for your help, I am making progress i may need to work on the weights of the products as the postage prices are a bit higher.... see picture attached.

I have in the shipping section activated the free shipping module to Zone 1 (UK) and now when i goto check out i get a choice to either pay for the shipping or opt for free shipping....

Have a look at the picture, ideally i would only want free shipping for all UK order under 2kg.

You don't need the Free Shipping, you've got that covered in the UK/GB cost in the Zones shipping module.

I understand, the free shipping options have been removed and now i am seeing the cost of the shipping. The cost is not accurate as shown in the pic.

It sounds like your products' weights are set in grams, but you've got shipping based on kgs.
