database difference

could anyone tell me how to tell the difference between a 1.2.x and 1.3.x MySQL database

What does your admin say your database is? Look in Admin> Tools> Server Info

well...what I should have asked ...given a database save from 1.2.7 and 1.3.1 what would be the distinguishing features, apart from number of tables, between them.
