What are you guys talking about Winmerging with 1.3.9f ?
When I installed it, I just followed the instructions and had to do nothing special other than running the SQL statements and over writing the folders. All of it seems to be working great...

EXCEPT--my whole sale customers see the retail prices once they go to the shopping cart to purchase. Does anyone know the cause of this or how I can fix this please? We have a 98% up and ready to go live site, but this one thing is holding us back!

I'm pretty amazed no one has had any response to any of the places I've posted this issue. Does just no one know what the problem is? Or do they just need some monetary encouragement? If someone can help me with this problem I might be able to pay them for their time. Our site is being held back only by this one issue.
    Thanks.

When you download and install this mod, you are installing files that go with Zen version 1.3.8. (because the creator of this mod has not updated it).

When we talk about Win Merge, we mean we are comparing the 1.3.8 files with the new 1.3.9 files, taking the proper Dual Pricing code out of the 1.3.8 files and placing them into the 1.3.9 files. Hope that makes sense.

Now to answer your other question.... I'm sorry, I do not know the cause of your problem or how to fix it, but I can guess that it doesn't help when you are using old 1.3.8 files in your 1.3.9 Zencart.

I am offering my Dual Pricing files if anyone wants to try them. Dual Pricing has been working great for me ever since 1.3.9 came out and I Winmerged everything. I am using Zen Cart version 1.3.9c by the way (haven't had a chance to update yet).

Use at YOUR OWN RISK... and I mean it. I will slap you across the face if you do not back up your files before you try mine. I have several mods running (Dual Pricing, Super Orders, COWOA, Quick Updates, and many more I can't even think of right now, and I have made all kinds of tweaks to the appearance of my site, etc. So...... once again, don't make me go all Chuck Norris on you if you don't backup your files.

Have a Drink Re: DUAL Pricing v2

I would like to thank craftzombie for her upload. I have taken the files she posted, and can confirm that they are working with my 1.3.9f version of ZC which is running COWOA. I backed up the replacement files, and uploaded the posted attachment contents.

When logged in as a wholesale user, I am able to see the correct wholesale pricing in all locations where it should be displayed (categories and product info pages), as well as showing them the retail pricing beside the appropriate "Retail Price" heading. When I add the product to my cart, the price remains correct, clear up to checkout via paypal.

Thanks again for the upload and saving my bacon! This issue was about to make me switch carts, because my wholesale customers wouldn't make it to the end of the shopping cart process to see their discount if I used group pricing. Switching carts was something I didn't want to do not only due to the amount of time invested thus far to get it setup and working, but also because I don't feel like any of the other carts offered the support or contributions which ZC offers, even the paid versions. Once again, the ZC community has pulled through with a great contribution! (and update to the contribution in this case) Thank you everyone for getting the DUAL Pricing this far, and thank you craftzombie for getting it 1.3.9f compatible!

email error Re: DUAL Pricing v2

    dermit,

I would try making sure you got the files all uploaded into the correct folders. Specifically, if you changed the name of your admin folder as suggested by ZC on your hosting company, make sure you rename your admin folder appropriately before uploading craftzombies files. I have installed a small handful of contributions, but in regards to products I am running a stock 1.3.9f zen cart. I went through each of my folders, cut the files out which craftzombie would be replacing, and pasted them into a separate backup folder, retaining the structure (IE putting in an english folder or admin folder or includes folder as needed). If you do this, then rename the admin folder in the zip she uploaded, you should be able to just upload the two folders (the admin-equivalent and includes folders) and everything should be fine and upload to the correct places.

Also make sure you have set up your wholesale pricing correctly. Go in and verify you have the wholesale pricing set with hyphens between them on your products. 0.00-0.00-0.00-0.00 if you do not want to offer a wholesale price for a particular item, or 9.99-8.99-7.99-6.99 for instance if you wanted to offer 4 different wholesale price levels for an item.

Finally, make sure your customer account is set up with a 1-4 number to achieve the desired pricing level. This is set by a box underneath of the customer's email address. By default they are set to 0 which is a retail-only price level.

If you are still having problems, I can try to give you a hand and look over things/try to fix it, but it is my opinion if you are running a new ZC install, that it has to be a problem with the files not uploading correctly (as some FTP clients will do) or a setting within the admin area that needs adjusting since I am running a nearly stock ZC at the moment and it worked perfectly for me. Double check my suggestions, and then try re-uploading the two main folders in the attachment and see if it clears up your problem. If not, the contact page on my ZC will email me, feel free to contact me and I will see what I can do to help.

    Thanks,
    Joey Phillips

What is COWOA? and do I need that in order for this to work?

Also make sure you have set up your wholesale pricing correctly. Hi, I am doing this. I guess my one question is since I am pricing by attribute I will obviously set 0.00-0.00-0.00-0.00 in my product pricing. But for the Attributes themselves do I do the 9.99,8.99,7.99,6.99 thing in the TRADE field?

I just want to double check that I am doing it correctly before I start getting developers involved or before I try to reinstall it.

Any confirmation would be a huge help!

Also craftzombie It seems your download link isn't working anymore. Possible to get it reuploaded? Thanks.

    Dermit,

COWOA is what enables users to Check Out With Out Account. The users do not have to make an account with your store to purchase products from your site. The files craftzombie uploaded have the necessary code in them to enable this feature, but you will have to look at the contributions page to get the remaining files/installation instructions. I would say you either need to fully install and utilize this feature or go through the code on the uploaded files and remove any references to the COWOA.

I am not using any attributes in my store, just listing options as a separate item, so I am not exactly sure how they work, but if I remember right, they changed how the pricing for the attributes needed to be entered because it interfered with excel and comma separated values, try using the hyphenated prices in the attributes as well. This is just me going off of memory......

The files craftzombie has uploaded appear to be working correctly for me, may have just been a glitch at the time you tried to download them. Give it another go...

    Hi,

Does anyone know how this module will affect the layout of the attributes file created by ezpopulate 2.5.5.4?

Will the wholesale prices have to be given their very own model numbers?

Also, I made some changes to the attributes grid and the product display grid, which part of these new files can i take and add to my modified files?

    Thx.
