Been over every file in both those threads, Used version 1.8 and made sure every instance of customer_whole, customers_whole, were changed to customers_wholesale. Did the all the edits, checked them 4 times now. I still cannot get any of the attribute prices to reflect in my build your own kit. It only shows the retail prices.

Normally when you add the wholesale price to a individual product, under Categories / Products - "your product", there is a Retail/Wholesale price collumn. This is not the case for the attributes. I enter the attribute prices like this without the quotes "19.00,10.85" and it defaults to the 19.00 every time.

Did I completely miss something in my edits? I thought I had everything. I also used the admin/attributes_controller.php file from this post to correct the issue where I would add a price to an attribute and it would take me back to the admin home page.

Hard to say since we can't see your edits.. Also you didn't say.. What version of Zen Cart??

My appologies, I'm running v1.3.9h. What edits would you like to see exactly? I just changed all the names like the instructions said for customers_wholesale, added the lines of code that were mentioned to add, removed duplicate lines as instructed. Nothing errors out when I run it, it works great for everything but the attributes. That was the main reason I installed the mod, was because it was suppose to work with attributes.

I can zip up the entire version of the files I uploaded and post them here if that helps?

I just deleted out the files I have been editing, went back with a fresh copy of all the files and did everything over again from scratch to make sure I didn't miss anything. After all is said and done, I still cannot get the attributes to work. I did find where I accidently delted a comma on one line the first time. Other than that, it was a clean install of version DP 1.8 onto Zencart 1.3.9h.

This is a great mod, thank you so much. Now if I can get attributes to work, I'm golden.

I'm also looking to add this module to ZC v 1.3.9h for a client. I understand that group pricing doesn't work with this. However, I am using Purchase Order Basic which requires a name starting with PO_ in the group pricing. Since I'm not using the Group pricing for discounts, any reason why this Dual Pricing would not work together with Purchase Order Basic?

The addon "include_and_exclude_tax_in_prices_nettgross_1-23a" was made for 1.3.9 and works in my 1.5.0 site as you can see here.

Only one file was needed to merge. Use WinMerge and make the adjustment. Easy.

Ok, so after doing everything you listed Diva, I finally got a thumb up my rear and decided not to do what the instructions said about how to input the prices in the attributes price field. It states to put in the price as follows 20,30,22 etc.. I kept putting this format into the Price box under Prices and Wieights in the Attributes Controller screen. It never worked. I finally decided to see what whould happen if I put in the wholesale price into the "Trade Price" box and now it appears to be working the way I want it to work. Is this the correct way to do it, or am I suppose to be putting all the prices in just the "Price" field in the Atrributes section as the installation instructions state?

So before I install this mod for my client, I need to know how much patching and repairing I need to do.. It appears after going through this entire support thread that there are a few outstanding issues that HAVE NOT made their way into the version available in the free downloads:

3. http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=903 (attributes not properly being added to products when added to the shopping cart)

Is this pretty much the list of old/current issues with this add-on or am I missing other issues??

I also noticed that JTheed took the time to synch up the Dual Pricing and Hidden Wholesale modules to use a common codebase. Will the Zen Cart v1.5 updates being worked on for Dual Pricing be doing the same thing (or better yet combining these features into ONE module)?? Hidden Wholesale is just as important as Dual Pricing.. I have a client who needs to set wholesale and retail pricing for her consultants as well as offering "wholesale only" products that retail customers will not be able to see (and she doesn't want to create a special category JUST for these products)..

So in the name of keeping ALL of the modifications that need to be applied to this add-on in an easy to find reference, I am replying to my own thread.

It doesn't appear that anyone is actively maintaining the Dual Pricing add-on. In order to update Dual Pricing you are required to apply changes that have ONLY been posted in the forum.

There are a few outstanding issues that HAVE NOT made their way into the version available in the Zen Cart free downloads.

So I've made an attempt to update this for v1.5.. I also combined the Hidden Wholesale add-on into this update as I cannot see a reason in the world WHY Hidden Wholesale needs to be a separate add-on anyway.. If you don't need to hide wholesale prices then DON'T USE THE FEATURE.. Pretty simple right??

There is no updated readme and NO SUPPORT from me for this.. Just wanted to share it.. I've incorporated MOST of the changes in the threads I reference above.

FYI the code to not charge dealers tax is not included, but it's logical that it should be part of the base.. I'll add it.. eventually..

Dunno if I personally plan to eventually submit this to the free downloads, and you darn sure don't want to use this on a live store..

Let me say this again DON'T USE THIS ON A LIVE STORE UNTIL YOU THOROUGHLY TEST IT!!

I've only HALF tested this, and I'm pretty sure there are other errors I've not yet uncovered.. (eg: Specials has not been tested AT ALL!!)
