We got a sneak peak of a cool new feature for the Ajax shopping cart sidebox before the forums went down. But, an update was never posted.

Andrew, do you plan to release a new version of this mod, with the product image floating over to the sidebox when it's added to the cart? Either way, thanks! I love this mod.

Hi, I'm trying to use this module on my zen-cart web page (http://www.monofonica.com), but I have a little problem with the inclusion of the form on the cart to use the AJAX classes.

Everything else is working fine and the AJAX classes are loading in the header section. But I'm still confused about the use of this application.

Where I must change the settings to use the templates for featured_products, product_display_info and all the others.

Can any one help on this?

The missing part in all forms is the onsubmit function.

Example: onSubmit="ajaxUpdateProduct(this, 'main_page=shopping_cart&action=update_product'); return false;"

This part must be called in some way on the cart but in the instructions do not says how or where else you must do the changes.

I already did all changes on the readme.txt, but it didn't work. Thanks for all the help you can post here.

Andrew is missing in action, I guess.

I have two small issues with this contrib -- anybody know how to fix em?

1. The ajaxShoppingCart_ok.gif, which signals that the product has been placed in the cart, won't disappear until the customer moves their mouse. We don't use a standard universal symbol for 'ok', so it's actually a little confusing that it doesn't disappear after a moment.

Is there a way to have it automatically disappear after a certain amount of time?

2. The loading.gif and ok.gif are also displaying when the customer removes something from the cart. We'd like to display different gifs for this action.

Anybody know a way to use different gifs for product removal from cart?

i think andrew is busy with the commitments! i tried to reach him but until now, no response at all! a lot of issues actually with this contrib especially with the latest ZC but andrew wasn't here to support it...

but a few of his AJAX contribs is compatible with current ZC zuch as Quickfind, Yahootreemenu and State Selector...well, you have to wait till someone know how to fix these contrib. A lot of ZENners out there trying to fix it including me but no luck...

actually, this mod still working with latest ZC but you have to apply small configuration from your admin to make it work! but the effect on buy now at the product listing page was not working... i am still trying to make it work on the latest system!
