Catagories and Sub catagories

Ok the tab for main catagories is a awesome feature if you use it. The question i have is, is it possible to split the catagories and sub catagories up. what i mean by that is have the main catagories in the tapped section and when you click on the catagory then in the "infobox" would just show the subcatagories for that main catagory. please hope someone knows what i am saying because its late and im not sure exactly how to word it.

There is not a way to do that built in, but it could be done with some custom coding (beyond my ability at present).
