Admin Profiles (for v1.3.x only!) Support Thread

Thanks Kuroi, I tried that and it says:

1146 Table 'totaltra_zc1.zen_admin_files' doesn't exist
in:
[select id from zen_admin_files where page = 'sqlpatch']
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

You know what would be GREAT? If you had an option to add a user with the same permissions as another already setup user... just a thought :) .

Are you using a table prefix of zen_? If you look in your database using phpMyAdmin, is there a zen_admin_files or an admin_files table there?

The ability to save "profiles" and apply them to other admin users is planned for the next major release of Admin Profiles. This will give you exactly the function that you have described.

Hi Kuroi,
Thanks for this great mod.
It would also be great if access for individual admins could be limited by ip address, so that some staff could only have access whilst at work.

I am going to install this mod on a 1.3.5 store.

In the instructions it says to run "install_adminlevels.sql" but I don't see that file.

I also want to make sure I am understanding the instructions correctly.

1. Run SQL File (which one?)
2. Upload Admin folder and files
3. Upload Admin patched files for ZC1.3.5 (Skip manual patches if I can freely replace the patched files right?)
4. Skip?
5. Add extra code to init_admin_auth.php

nevermind I got it to work :)
Great mod.

One question, is there any way to separate the permissions Categories/Products?
I want my basic user to be able to add products but I don't want them to be able to create or delete categories.

I just had a user delete all categories by accident which ended up deleting all the products. Luckily I had a database backup.

HELP!!!

I installed the 1.3.5 mod per the instructions and my menu has disappeared.
I only had one user and the ID was 2. I changed this to 1 but it didn't help.

Can someone please help me to get my menu back.
