more Define Pages

Hiya,

Now forgive me if im missing something, I;'ve been looking around on teh different posts, and I have found a few which help, but not entirely.

Im adding a page, which at the moment im renaming.

so shippinginfo.php is now -> travel.php

and define_shippinginfo is now -> define_travel.php

So i was under the impression that I could just change the link (.../cat/index.php?main_page=shippinginfo) to jsut replace the "shippinginfo" with "travel".

Obviously not tho, as when that link is used it cant find it and jsut shows my main_page.

I was under impression it was jsut looking for a few php files, and that it didnt have anything to do with the database, however thats what i read somewhere as well.

I do have 1.3, and have read about EZ pages, but i dont really want to go and create new pages there as I already have them created, just wanted to rename them.

and when you click on Travel and Hotels it just reverts back to the main page.

I apolagise if im being really dumb.

If anyone could help that wud be great, driving me nuts.

As you have found out this does not work easily. Bite the bullet and use EZ Pages. You do not have to scrap what you have, use it for the content(cut/paste) when creating the EZ Page.

First get your files back to how they should be, hope you were using the overrides.

yeah its ok I can remember what i changed anyway.

The thing, If i go and create new ez pages.

Where would I then find the link to that page?

As im linking to it via a custom made button???

As in what would the URL be?
