Default invalid email characters for login

A customer recently tried to purchase something from us but the cart will not let him register with his email address, which he claims is completely valid. His email has a + character in the name before the @ cymbal which he says is a legit email address but the cart is seeing it as 'invalid'.

Can the 'invalid' characters settings be changed ?

    Thanks,
    Sheryl

in v1.3.0, the validations routine is in the bottom of the includes/functions/functions_email.php

    in v1.2.x, it's in includes/functions/validations.php

You could try changing the regex masks to include the +

Well, thanks for the info, I can see the validation script but I have no idea what a regex mask is and I do not see anything that looks obvious so I cannot change it.

Can you tell me exactly what to look for in the validation.php file ?

    Thanks,

Bumping is not allowed, you could post which version you are using so people dont have to have a stab in the dark or a wild guess.
If its not one of the above then it could be somewhere else.
