Improved Attributes Controller (now built-in to v1.3.9)

Kelvyn, such a 'move multiple products' ability wouldn't be particularly difficult to code: I might even take a crack at it sometime in the not-so-distant future.

Did anyone ever give this a shot???

installed mod and just get - Option Name- - Option Value-
my options are not showing up ..why is this

I am also having an issue with the attributes controller - it had worked for many months, but now it seems that it is not displaying any of the Option Name/Values in the controller and I have no idea what happened!

The option name/values are still contained in the database, so I'm assuming there must be a conflict with the query? Anyone find a solution to this?

I suddenly developed this problem! I had several attributes working on my test product. I then added the Option Name: "Width" and filled in a lot of Option Values: 1/8", 1/4", 1/2" etc. about 15 of them. Then when I went to the Attributes Controller, there was only "Option Name" and "Option Value" in the "Option Name" and "Option Value" fields and not my own names and values.

If anyone knows how to fix this I would be very grateful!! I really need to finish this up.

If your having a problem with not displaying any of the Option Name/Values in Improved Attributes Controller, check your Option Name and remove any dbl quotes " in the Option Name, as this just happened to me.

THANK YOU!! That was it! I had (Click "Add to Cart" to upload.) as an option name. I changed the double quotes to ' (single) and that fixed it right up!

I am going to assume you have installed the IAC and have added attributes to an item.

If your IAC is not showing you attributes try looking in your "Option Name Manager" and "Option Values Manager" your option names and option values can not contain quotes (") ie 34" would need to be 34in or "Audio wma" would need to be 'Audio wma'.

I'm not sure how else to explain.
