    Default Zen-Froogle-Data-Feeder

I am using the advanced version of Zen-Froogle-Data-Feeder. I haven't had any issues til I upgraded to 1.2.7 which I am still using. The ftp file is generated, but when I try to ftp the site to my froogle site I get this error message:

You don't have permission to access /admin/froogle.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Any help will be appreciated.

I set all the froogle generator files and folders to 777 and it still didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you are using Tim's (timkroeger) Froogle mod and not Andrew's (a_berezin) GoogleFroogle mod.

Have you had the opportunity to read through the archived support thread for either mod?

Andrew's GoogleFroogle mod works flawlessly with 1.2.7 and up as far as I know. You might want to give it a try.

It is most likely a problem with your server. Have a look at the file permissions again. Have they actually changed to 777 or are they 600. I discovered the GoogleFroogle Mod sets the owner permissions to nobody and even though I changed them on the server they reverted back to nobody all the time, giving the same error message (not writeable)

I contacted the web host and he changed the permissions at server level. This fixed the issue until I had to reinstall again. I sent an email to the maker of GoogleFroogle and told him about it some time ago. I think the most recent version has fixed the owner permissions problem.

    Correct

...blah blah blah... forum wont let me post fewer than ten characters. So guess we need to come up with universal synonyms for YES and NO which each are 10 characters plus long ;-)

Thanks for the reply folks! I installed the google froogle feeder and removed the froogle beta version. I have to say that the google froogle is a far superior version of the mod.

Where can I download the Google Froogle mod? I can't seem to find it in the downloads section...although I'm probably just missing it

    Thanks!
