You don't have to start over. The pic is a simple fix.

Do you have any image editing software?

If not what size do you want the image to be?

It appears that either you haven't installed Zen Cart yet or it is in a subdirectory of your site which we can't see. The current front page is generated by some other template/cart system (soho?), which is fine for a holding page while you build your site, but you can't continue to work with it *and* have a zc site.
Can you tell us where to find your Zen Cart? (e.g. www.heavenlyscentscrittersandcandles.com/cart or something like that?)

Its a bit complicated unless you're familiar with imaging editing programs.

I use GIMP which is free. You could also use Photoshop.

Basically what I did was take the original image and crop out just the bear portion.

I then scaled (keeping the aspect ratio) to a new height.

Now scalethe bear to the same height as the background and paste it back in and center it.

    Save it and voila!

    Mimi,

Zen Cart and Soho are two completely different systems, and they wouldn't know how to talk to each other or pass information/customers from one to the other. It would be possible to arrange, but would require some skilled programming... which there is no need for.

ZC can do a splashy front page with relatively minor modification, and include all the links and other bits you may not even know yet that you will want. You have nothing complicated on the Soho page showing now, and you could just about copy & paste your current content into a ZC framework in a few minutes.

Just be sure to use the template_default base and not the Classic one - in fact, you would do well to delete the files from the /classic/ folder (leave the folders.) Then download & install Kuroi's Future_zen template and you will have a clean base to work from and customization will be relatively simple.
