Tax Text Not Showing Up On Checkout_Payment Page

OK I'm sure this is a simple answer, but i have been trying to figure it out without any luck. i did a search but did not find anything on it. on the checkout_payment page under the area your total

subtotal:
flat rate
tax:
Total:


the tax field isn't showing up it shows the tax amount but not the word tax

here is a picture of what i mean



i looked through a bunch of pages associated with this page but i just could not figure out what to do.



if someone could just take a look and tell me what file i need to work with it would be so appreciated .

Re-check all of your definitions in the Zone/Taxes setting that you did not leave out the description ...
