is admin profile addon safe?

Hello Everyone, i'm on v1.3.0.1
I would like to have a user access levels, I need to give a user an access to te admin menu but i need to hide or disable some buttons,
Is the (Admin profile) in the downloads area doing meet my needs?
Is it compatable version with v1.3.0.1 ?
Just advise and lil support please,

Safe? Safe from what? By allowing anyone but your self to the stores data increases risk to fraud. Whether you use an add on or not. I don't think anyone including the author would guarantee a safe product. Use at your own risk.
