A few nagging questions

Thanks to help from the forum, I am now making some significant progress on getting my new site up. I am accumulating a few questions, however, that I cannot seem to find the answers to, and yes, I've been looking!

If anyone can address any of these issues, I would really appreciate it:

Can the attributes be discounted, too?
What does this mean? Attributes Qty Price Discount:
What does this mean? Onetime Attributes Qty Price Discount:


Can the option value, "TEXT" be made a textarea with more room? SQL mod., perhaps??


Why does the backup compress, even when I specified no compression?


What is the "Product URL" setting that is on the product description page? What goes there?

Previous versions of Zencart were table based, right?? I am having trouble positioning things the way I want on the product_info page without tables. Is ALL the positioning contolled by CSS? Can I make that php page table based so that I can make it look the way I want?
