As for Yahoo, I guess I must of had misread that this user was hosting from Yahoo.
Not hosting on Yahoo.
As for this line (define('DB_SERVER', 'mysql');) its acutally pointing to my database located at mysql.trimcomputers.com (i changed it when i posted here. This isn't my problem)
If I were to give you my ftp & mysql detail are you able to look at this for me. If we cant get this up and running I will be happy to donate some money to you.
I've been playing around and found
in application_top.phpdefine('DEBUG_AUTOLOAD', false);
I changed this to
And now spits out a whole bunch of stuff when I goto http://www.newcastleprosound.com.au/...dmin/login.phpdefine('DEBUG_AUTOLOAD', true);
There are a few warnings in there that look like they may be causing the problem.
Please let me know if im on the right track
I've tried to follow your advice and change it to 666, but then a 403 error appeared.Originally Posted by TheOracle

i've looked over the New Installation Guide for Zen Cart.
And i over looked this part and wasn't able to do this.
Is this really necessary to do this part? Can this be one of the reason why the admin page is not working properly?As for other folders and files, they can be CHMOD 644, or 444, depending on your webserver configuration.
Most of the time, yes. If you get a 403 error when switching to CHMOD 666, then simply switch both configuration files to CHMOD 644 and edit them manually (if needed to be edited).
Can this be one of the reason why the admin page is not working properly?
Recall: These permissions settings should be changed only for files - not folders. For your folders, if CHMOD 755 is not possible, (due to 403 error message), switch it to CHMOD 711. That setting only happened to me once when I was helping a customer once on a different web server (non-Zen Cart related).
well, i tried changin the permission to 711. the same error occured.
i guess its not with the permission. so i changed it back to 755.Warning: main(/includes/filenames.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/13/d161596823/htdocs/costarica/store/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 100
