When I want to make a URL live in the text edior, I click on the add link icon and a popup shows which *does not allow me to type in the text*. I can click cancel, but that's about it.

I don't use the forum with the full editor features.Originally Posted by DesignbyDemeter
The forum software is smart enough to auto apply URL tags if you type out the full URL including http://
But if you want to use anchor text then you can do manually by typing
[U R L="Enter full URL here"]Enter anchor text to display here[/ U R L]
Do not put spaces between URL as I did above.
EDIT: Now I am thinking you were not referring to the forum but an editor on a Zen Cart admin page. If so can you specify the admin page and the editor.
Hi,
Guess I wasn't specific enough. Yes, I was in the Admin module, working on one of the text-customizable php pages via the editor.
In some IE installs (depending on service-pack level), some textarea fields will not let you enter anything in them unless you click on the very top left inside border with your mouse ... placing the "i" of the cursor on the very left edge of the input area.
Blame MS.
Firefox doesn't seem to do this.
