hiya, someone told me that I should place an XML Feed on my site - it will help with bots. How do I go about doing this, is there a contribution for this sort of thing?

Search the archived contributions forum on "a_berezin". Andrew created a nice RSS mod that works well in Zen Cart 1.3x. If you were like me when I began with RSS you you may want to read up a bit on RSS2/XML/XSL to implement his mod. But many tips in his mod support thread.
