I am currently setting up ZenCart for a non-profit so that they may use the system to register visitors for a conference.
Here is my situation:
Tables at the event can seat 10 people.
A person may purchase either individual seats, individual tables (10 seats), or a combination of seats and tables.
Also, note that a table might be 10% cheaper to purchase than 10 individual seats (based on discount).
I would like to be able to set the system up so that I have an initial quantity of 1500 individual seats (or 150 tables).
The user should then be able to click on the event listing and I would like them to be able to see the following:
Indiv. Seat: __
Table: __
[Add To Cart]
It would also be nice to see in the admin section (backend) exactly how many "Tables" were purchased versus "Individual Seats". This would greatly assist in assigning seats and issuing tickets, etc.
Could someone please walk me through the process of setting up such a product?
I do not even really know where my limitations are/are not.
