I have a sale on at the moment, but it's not showing on the home page. It does show in the relevant catagory though.
How can I rectify this so that it does show on the home page?

Show how? SaleMaker is not tied to the Specials displays.
Hi Kim
What do you mean show how?
What's your URL?
Where on the page were you expecting to see the "sale" represented?

Hi
www.aquaessentials.co.uk
As you can see there are 4 specials on at the moment, but what I was hoping for was for the sale items (albeit not all of them) to be displayed on the home page. Sales by their very nature are important which is why they need prioritising.
Hope you can help
Okay - I believe what Kim was indicating is that "Salemaker" entries affect prices...not whether something is highlighted on the home page or other places.
Salemaker prices will affect the displayed price.
Specials can affect price as well as have attention drawn to them via sideboxes and centerboxes.

The concept of the cart is that a Sale usually covers a large number of items (e.g. storewide or a complete category) and, if you equate it to a real world shop, it would be more appropriate to announce it either by a statements/banners at the shop entrance, and your visitors would expect to see many reductions.
On the other hand, if you're only want a few items they should be set as Specials where specific attention is drawn to them...you could think of that as the poster in the corner of the shop window!
I would suggest in your case that you show savings as a percentage. Your prices are small and no-one is going to get excited over a saving of 60p!
I'd also suggest that you change your english.php file so that the statement is "Save XX%" which looks and reads considerably better than "Save: x% off"
