    Checkout process -- The page cannot be displayed error

    Hi Zenners,

    I'm using the latest version of zen-cart.
    I installed the echo-inc module from the downloads.
    I tested my shopping card with the default CC module and everything looked fine.

    However, when I test the checkout process using the echo-inc module, the checkout_process file stays in the browser for a long time and then I finally get an http error: the page cannot be displayed (the web page is: https://www.edufone.com/store/index...._confirmation). At the bottom of the screen, the status bar says "opening page: https://www.edufone.com/store/index.php?main_page=checkout_process...". I do have a merchant account with echo-inc.

    I had to get the echo-inc module from the older downloads. It was ported to zen_cart version v1.2

    I'll try to email jason to see if he knows what I need to do to update it. In the meantime, does anyone know of changes between the zen-cart releases that would be impacting this payment module? or of anything else that I need to look at?

    Another minor problem is the expiration date doesn't display correctly. It should be 2006 and it's: Credit Card Expiry Date:November, 2020. Any ideas on the cause of the wrong year?

    Thanks,
    jdl

    Check to make sure that the connection address in the module is still valid for that company e.g.

    set_EchoServer("https://wwws.echo-inc.com/scripts/INR200.EXE");

    If the name of the module is echo-inc you have to get rid of the dash and change the name to "echoinc"... this could be the problem...

    Thanks Zenners,

    Since my site is hosted at godaddy, I had to had these parameters for curl:

    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPPROXYTUNNEL,TRUE);
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_PROXYTYPE, CURLPROXY_HTTP);
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_PROXY, "http://64.202.165.130:3128");
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, FALSE);

    Well ok, I can see that this post is way old, so I don't suspect I'll get a response, but I am new to the shopping cart world and am trying to figure out between oscommerce and zencart.

    My Merchant Accountis with Echo-Inc. Is there still an add-on somewhere to make Zencart work with Echo-Inc? Echo does not list Zencart on its list of shopping carts.

    And if you feel inspired, why did you switch from oscommerce to echo?

    God Bless!

    Alrighty then. I just figured out how to find the "old" downloads. Does anyone know if the old echo-inc add-in still works and if there is one for accepting checks with them?

    God Bless!

    Hi Jon,

    I'm using the echo-inc module with zen-cart vr. 1.3.6. It's pretty simple code so it should be easy to modify if you need to but it might work fine with zen-cart 1.3.8. I only accept credit cards and Paypal so I don't know about the checks.
