Confirm Order sends to homepage

I've installed a Direct Debit module which basically on clicking the 'Confirm Order' should create the order but what i'm seeing happen is after clicking the 'Confirm Order' button it gets thrown to the homepage and does not complete the order.

I suspect the session could be dying? as it doesn't happen on the deve server?

Where's about could I check in the code to see where it's sending back to the index page?

Or the action could be rejected. If you have downloaded a MOD from the downloads section of the forum, I'd suggest replying to the appropriate thread in order to get a more definite response from the author of that MOD or from one of the DEV team.

Well if you have a MOD for direct bank transfer payments then I would rather use yours. Can you send it to me please

The strange thing with my problem is that when it throws you to the homepage after clicking confirm order then if you click the browser Back it says the usual IE stuff 'you need to refresh the page because you submitted data blah blah.... ' so i click refresh and it shows the 'Confirm Order' page again and this time when i press 'Confirm Order' the order goes through and works! Just doesn't work the first time, but only sometimes the first time fails sometimes it works!

What could it be? So it's not failing all the time.

Help! really strange! Send me a Mod please

I don't think it can be the MOD? because it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't and thing is the I don't think the session is dying because when you click Back on the browser and try Confirm the Order again it works!

Hi

Now the Sign In is also sending me to the homepage even tho it does log me so I have to go to checkout again.

What could be happening? It's very strange

Why would the visitor be thrown back to homepage after signing in? it does log them in but doesn't proceed to checkout pages

As well as this the "Confirm Order" button throws the user back to the homepage too but if done a second time it works!

Some advice please thanks

I'd suggest checking your web error logs to see what might be wrong here. In the mean time, if you're encountering unstable activities when users are doing transactions, 'or ' about to do a transaction, I'd definitely report these strange activities to my web hosting service to see what might the problem. Only they could give you the right answer on this, since it seem to be a server-side related issue.
