    FORBIDDEN access admin/sqlpatch.php

I moved my cart up one level and now cannot use admin/tools/install sql patches

"forbidden - You don't have permission to access /admin/sqlpatch.php on this server."

I have tried every conceivable solution from dozens of threads/posts/faqs/docs etc. - no luck.

my host insists it is zencart issue.

    Any paths to look for?

    any suggestions... I'm stuck

    thanks

the level of the zen cart files,
root or sub directory shouldnt have any effect on using the sql patch

    Did you change anything else,
    make any permission changes?

I may have bungled the move using FTP...which may have changed settings but I've tried many different combos. Can't seem to find the definitive and comprehensive permission guideline. But with admin and sqlpatch at 777 you'd think it would let me in.

Another possible cause is from Image Handler2 contribution which didn't work on my version 1.2.5... (upgrading in future)

    any suggestions welcome

    thanks

You may need to do the same .htaccess change as here, for the same reasons given in my post about it:
