    UPS charges are not consistent!

    Good day!
    The problem is the UPS shipping cost through Zencart is always lower than what UPS. com shows. I have the correct product weights and I've adjusted the tare weights up to a very large number in order to get accurate shipping charges according to UPS.com. My ship from Zip Code is correct and the test ship to address are correct. I have a product that wieghs 5.95lbs and tare wieghts of 9lbs to get close to the realtime shipping charges from UPS.com

    Anyone with ideas on this issue would be helpful!

    Are you comparing Residential delivery rates to Commercial Business rates?

    I didn't mention. Zencart and UPS.com are set to RES. rates.

    Well- the rates quoted come from a UPS server- perhaps this needs to be taken up with them?

    It's because you don't have your pick up correct. I think you need to set it to RDP. Not the OT.

    The sent was already set to RDP. We use our own Packaging and its set to CP. Tax Class is set to none and tax basis is set to shipping. I do have 1.50 in handling charges, but that wouldn't explain the under charges from zencart to UPS.com either.

    I will contact UPS and go down that avenue. But I would appreciate any further advise in the mean time.

    I'm sorry, I miss wrote the first sentence in my last reply. The pickup senting is already set to RDP.

    Perhaps if you posted the Ship From Address and Ship to Address and the results you see on UPS.com vs on your Zen Cart site ... we could help you better ...

    OK, I deleted the Zencart UPS module and then reinstalled it. The previous issue seems to be fixed but now, it calulates the actual shipping charges but does not include the Delivery area surcharge. I'm not sure about any other surcharges that are not included. Is there a way to get Zencart to include these added surcharges?

    If your destination is in the USA, check the download section for:
    >Shipping Modules>UPS Delivery Area Surcharge
