    Default Uploading my store

    Hello,
I have built my zencart store on a local machine, and now I want to put it on my server, is this possible...please direct me to directions if they have been posted on the forum before.

I will have to rename my database when I put it on the server, will this be a problem?

    Thank you for the help,
    Danny

A few articles which may help you:

As for database-name, Zen Cart doesn't care what the name is, as long as whatever you enter in your configure.php files matches the name and security on your live server.

Thank you for the quick reply!

I have my store up and running, but for some reason it will not let me log in as a customer? I did the fix_cache_key thing. I have changed my configuration.php file in the admin and the includes directory. Is there something I am missing?

    Thank you,
    Danny

I am sort of answering my own question here, I don't know if this is the fix, but it works.

setting the sessions setting: recreate sessions to false seems to fix the problem.

There were some other posts that I read through, and they were blaming this issue on PHP 5, but who knows.

v1.3.0.2 tries to address that problem ... perhaps a quick upgrade would be smart too
