    Is it possible for my customers to change their orders before they are processed?

    What do you mean: before they are processed? Unless you had a very unique business plan and payment method, I would say no, and a very BIG no for very obvious reasons. Not because it can't be done, because it shouldn't be done, at least not by your customers.
