About us page

I have tried searching but couldnt find a topic on this. I am using the clean business template and my about us page and link isnt showing up. I did add a custom header but I dont think that done anything because my home link and login link shows at the bottom of the header.

The about Us dont show up at the header section or the left side box area. There is a section in the back office to edit the about us page though and I have it in the define_about_us.php in my file manager. any help would greatly be appreciated.

About us is not part of the default ZenCart code...
Did you add the about us 3rd party module?

As you have the define file - - it may be included with the template??
Was there any sql patch with the template and did you run it?
Also check admin > config > define page status

Difficulty is dependant upon your technical level but mostly how well you can follow the instructions - - As in all things, make a backup first to include a DB backup in the event it goes bad

I installed the about us modules, it shows up on my website now but it dont show up in the admin define pages status. it seems to be missing a link somewhere to the about me because when I edit the about me under tools area it dont show up on my site. It show a link to: Home:: NAV_SITE. You can take a look at it and see what could be done different if you could.

At the worst I could define a new page and use it for the about me.

I didnt see any mysql patches but I did back up my database just in case something went wrong

was it added through ez-pages? if it is, you can simply turn on the link from tools/ez-pages

Did you remove the original page you had in the define pages? It seems you might have 2 about us pages now and it would be causing a problem.

I would use the develpopers tool kit to find all instances of "About" and delete all files releated to the define pages. Then reinstall the mod. In the readme file of the mod it explains how to create the link in proper format as well as how to use the mod as a core for any define pages you might want to add.
