template for fashion jewelry- Lavender?

I am trying to build an fashion jewelry site using zen cart. I have been picking the template to start with, this one http://(sorry, site offline)/1-3-9d/...e_dir=lavender looks good. Anyone has good recommendations?

one question about the above template, when the mouse is over "home", the text become dark and it is hard to read, how can I changed to other color?

Practically all templates are customisable. You need to know how CSS works, and how to use HEX colour codes. You also need to know how to create a variety of images to either replace existing ones (the new ones in your colour and design scheme).

Unfortunately, it is not possible to give you a full lesson in how to "re-skin" a template in the context of this post.

You should start your learning process by going into the tutorials section and working through sections that are relevant to style changes.

Schoolboy, I totally agree with you. What I trying to do is pick one that most suitable for showing Jewelry, and then starting customize from it, which I hope to save some customization work :). thanks for your advice!

Hey fei, if got a good one for you. It's default looks is very nice. This can basically teach you the basics of CSS as it's well annontated - annontated as in the author left comments describing what does what. So when you see something along the lines of */ textextext /* that identifies a comment.

I had heard that some people had difficulty making WOZ work correctly (never looked at it myself)... sounds like it is best to just go straight to numinix' tutorial.
