Expanding the categories

I asked this question before and all i got was links leading me to other posts that wouldnt give a simple answer.

I would like my categories to look like this:

Everything expanded by default.

I know someone will post a link to some other topic, or complain about my lack of advanced searching, but this is the 3rd week that I have been looking for the simple answers.

If you have to provide a link, can you just copy and paste the answer in here?

But I forget its name ...

Perhaps someone using it will be so kind as to add it to the Downloads section ...

Anyone know how to mod the code to achieve this?

Umm, where do you put it? Do you overwrite files, or do you just put it in a directory? there is no directions in there.

Just copy the 'includes' folder (and all sub folders and files) into your catalogue directory.

Then enable the new category box from admin. (log into admin and then click on Tools | Layout Boxes Controller).

That's it! :)
