products sold but not showing sold in report or inventory

I've just noticed that I have a couple of products (instant downloads) that have been sold, but they are not showing up as being sold in the "products sold report" or by decreasing the number of products in stock on the items in the catalog. When I look at the customer record and edit the sale the product shows as being sold and downloaded.

Where should I look or what should I do to correct this.?

Downloads do not change the products_quantity at this time ...

If that is so then why have some of the others decreased? And why don't someof them show up in the products sold report?

Products will decrease Stock based on settings in the Configuration ... Stock ...

But not the Downloads ...
