When users pay through CC or paypal or whatever, what currency is used for the transaction by default? Is it the customer's country's currency, or their shipping destination currency? Thanks.

THe currency used is usually the one they have selected in the cart during their shopping process. If you give them no option to select a currency, then it's the default currency for your site.
