I have found that the Send Email tool does not function if the customer is not subscribed to the newsletter.
This actually also affects the ability to send gift certificates and possibly coupons using the Zencart Admin.
I attempted to send a gift certificate to a customer who is not subscribed to any newsletters, and while the tool "said" it was sent, it never generated the gift certificate.
If, however, I try to send a gift certificate to a test entity that is subscribed to the newsletter, everything goes as planned. Incidentally, the same thing happens if I just try to send a plain email (taking the whole gift certificate thing out of the loop)
Anyone else noticing this?
