The install of zen-cart-v1.3.0.2 went fine. The shop with sample goods seems to be working fine, the only potential issue I'm aware of is that I'm using PHP Version 5.1.4
When trying to access the admin pages for the 1st time (http://..../zencart/admin ) I receive the following errors.
Warning: require(includes/application_top.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/web2/web/zencart/admin/index.php on line 23
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/application_top.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/web2/web/zencart/admin/index.php on line 23
so, is this a simple file/folder permissions issue or is it related to php5?

I suspect it's a permissions issue. I doubt PHP5 alone would be causing that error.

I installed it
but got this error
Warning: Installation directory exists at: /home/adinfo/public_html/zen/zc_install. Please remove this directory for security reasons.
while opened da normal shopping site
