Default Not a question, but an important image thing I discovered

    Hi all.

Hope this isn't covering old ground, but I've been having image troubles.

Although I have my images in /images and /images/medium and /images/large, it was only the _LRG image that was getting loaded in all instances.

After much head scratching I realised it was because you have to upload the small image last, thereby telling Zen-Cart the correct path to all images.

If _LRG is uploaded last, Zen looks in the wrong place for the other two images.

Well, it worked for me, hope this is of some help.

You can also add the small image first, then FTP all other images to their proper directories ...

The image naming conventions will locate the files automatically ...

Yes, I've worked that out too.

The point is that I had to teach the store owner how to insert products, and teaching them how/where to FTP seemed one step too far.

So she was uploading in the admin tool in what became 'the wrong order'.

I think this would be a common mistake, and although FTP is the 'easy' way to us web-savvy types, I think telling users the correct order for uploading via admin is a far point.

    Cheers

Don't like the look of that actually.

A fee people seem to have probs, and I'm happy with manually doing the resizes.

Thanks though, didn't know the tool existed.
