Default Page URL with out showing on Main page

I am trying to help a friend out to setup a commerce site. One option he must have is a place to write up answers to common questions, and a place to write up production documentation, such as how to use the product. However he does not want a large list of these being seen on the front page since there is going to be a lot of them and could clutter the clean look he is going for. He also needs an easy way to get the URL to each thing he has typed up so he can paste it into an email. I have tried to use the FAQ module for this, and not display it on the front page, however there is not an easy way for him to get the URL to each thing he has typed up with out displaying the FAQ on the front page, clicking the link he wants copying the URL, and then taking the FAQ module off of the front page. Does anyone have suggetions on this or am I missing something obviious? Thanks so much.

    Why not use EZ-Pages?

The URL to the articles would then be: index.php?main_page=page&id=18

(where 18 is the page number).

OT: I don't understand why you would call these articles FAQs if you don't want anyone to be able to find them unless they're in an email....

Create a FAQ page, perhaps using EZ pages, or perhaps using the about us contribution.
    http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=182

Before each item, use an anchor.

    <a name="Q1"></a>
    <h2>How do I create a flurb?</h2>
    ...

    <a name="Q2"></a>
    <h2>How do I create a fleeb?</h2>
    ....

Then to get someone to (say) Q2, give them the FAQ address with #Q2, i.e.

    yoursite.com/index.php?main_page=faq#Q2

You could also put the faq in one of the sideboxes for easy access.

    Good luck,
    Scott
