Strange error message for admin login

When I type my user name/pwd to log into admin, I now get this bizarre error message:

1017 Can't find file: './syntht/coupon_gv_queue.frm' (errno: 24)

This just turned up like 1 hour ago! Help!

if you have any ideas. I am on a remote hoting service (Verio), did they screw with my server and not restore a file after backup?

That is a database error. Check with your host.
