I should mention 1.301 is a FRESH copy no mods yet.
You've got it wrong.I need to know do I install all the files via FTP and run the SQL File named mysql_upgrade_zencart_1301_to_1302. Do I need to run any other files in the ZCInstall file??
You need to upload ALL the files from the zc_install folder.
Then use your browser to open zc_install/index.php on your server
Choose Database-Upgrade option at the bottom of the System Inspection page.
Follow the prompts to complete the upgrade.
DO NOT simply run the .SQL file via some other means.

Dr Byte, Do I have to set permission first? I tried uploading via FTP and it says something about permissions.
If you're only running the database-upgrade portion, you don't need to change permissions on the configure.php files.

Maybe I should have also said to NOT press "install" ... the database-upgrade button is beside it ....Originally Posted by DrByte

These messages suggest that your FTP program didn't upload all the zc_install files properly.Originally Posted by zenned
