OK.
Do you think it matters though, considering I am not using HTTPS, just HTTP?
Jemma
Right, I changed that and it's still not working, although the // has disappeared, it's now only one /.
Also, curiously, it wouldn't let me update the configure.php, and when I checked the permissions they were on 444 - I'm sure they never used to be. Changed them to 644 - that's ok, isnt' it? I am just wondering if something has happened to the site (or am I worrying too much?!?!)
Also, now there is no order number appearing on the success page (before it said "Order number 1" all the time)
Jemma
That is a typo ... and needs to be fixed ...
What version of Zen Cart are you running?
Is this a clean install or an upgrade?
If an upgrade, what version did you upgrade from?
How did you do the upgrade?

If permissions are 444 you need to change them to 644 so you can overwrite the file then change them back to 444 if that is what you need ...

Sorry - don't know if you saw my edited post. Is it ok to stick with 644?
I'm using 1.3.0.1. On my thread about Gift Certs you suggested I upgrade, and I've just replied to that, saying I will, but am a little concerned about ruining the site considering I've got to show it to my friend (who asked me to make it for him) all complete tomorrow, before he goes on holiday!

(p.s. it was a clean install)

Ok,
the email address used in the zen cart paypal module is the one listed as primary in www.paypal.com and it is case sensitive?
Well the information going to paypal looks good.
I would verify the email address,
verify that the host hasnt decided to block incoming on ports 80 or 443
the IPN seems to be working OK
Yes, it is absolutely identical (that was the first thing I checked having read your other posts!)Ok,

I am waiting for a reply from my host about the ports.
