newsletter not reaching everyone

I composed a newsletter in the Newsletter Manager offered with ZenCart. There were two versions- HTML and text-only. Only a select few people from my newsletter subscriber list received my document.

There were over 500 people who signed up so some people are telling me that since it's a large group, the e-mail my be timing out before it reaches everyone.

Is this true? Can anyone give me any insight as to why my newsletter isn't reaching everyone it's supposed to. Thanks!

When you sent the newsletter, how many green checkboxes did you see, if any at all? Each checkbox indicates one recipient sent. You can hover over it to see what their email address was.

Or did the page end up going blank or showing an error?

Sometimes the server will timeout on the page. the only way around that is to have your host change the timeout settings or export the data and use some other program to do the mailing. http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...products_id=80

I also have a question about this.

My site is www.maceddy.com. When I send out a newsletter, it reaches all of my 700+ subscribers EXCEPT those with Roadrunner email addresses. They get a blank email. The subject is there, it's just the body of the email is completely empty. Right now I have to send those people separate newsletters from a different email sytem.

The only folks affected are those with email addys like: joesmith AT tampbabay DOT rr DOT com.

Any suggestions?

Chances are that your webserver (not just your domain) has been blocked by those ISP's due to spam floods that have come from someone else on your same server at some point over the last 20 years.
You might talk to your host and let them know, and see if they can attempt to be removed from any "blacklists" at those ISP's.

I asked my ISP and they said they weren't blocked (Telnap). Also, the emails don't arrive as spam, nor are they blocked from those folks. The roadrunner guys get the emails okay, they show up in the in boxes. The SUBJECT of the newsletter is also filled in. It's just the BODY of the email that is completely blank!
