Can I install on stand alone PC

Have just seen Zen-Cart in Practical Web Design magazine.

I would like to get to grips with this before uploading to my server. Using WIN XP, can I install on my PC. If so what support packages do I need please. ie. PHP and MySQL.

Any help gratefully received.

I use WAMP Server for design purposes on my pc. It installs all needed packages and I have never had a problem with it

The Zen installation.txt says to use:

http://localhost/zen/zen_install/

in the address bar of IE. ok??? I do that but nothing happens.

Can you help me again please. I am having trouble with the MySQL part of Wamp server. The install part works up until that part. then stops telling me that it cannot find the "test@localhost" database.

Am I doing something wrong, or could you point me to any help page or info please.
