    SQL Query

    [FONT="Arial"]Hello,

    I've been searching all over the forum to find a sql query that will pull customer information and order information and order product attribute information into one export to a csv file.

    I have picked up some syntax but am having no luck with it. I am working with a trial version of EMS SQL data exporter and it will download the tables, but I don't know how to add the query to make it produce one download file with all the info.

    Has anyone done this? And if so are you willing to share?

    I use a program to do this work. I am sure that there are many but the one I use is "Navicat MySQL" and as I recall there is a trial for evaluation. You can see if it gets you what you want.

    Oh thank you! I love this. It's interface is similar to access query windows, but better! Worth the $100 to me.

    Glad that you might find it useful...it also does other things like access, orcale to ?? and will create the queries that you want to excecute on a regular basis and, and...

    Good Luck with this as I have found it invaluable as long as I know what settings are required.

    Would this program do things for example - let me export my pricing for all my products to a file?

    Thanks,
    Laura

    Yes. SQLyog will do similarly. So does Easy Populate. Each has their own approach and pro/con's.
    The new Sales Report due out soon also has some export capabilities.
