Help! I am having this same problem. My admin log on works fine, and functions so far.
When you go to my home page, it simply says:
    ILLEGAL ACCESS.

What is causing this? I won't post the website because that is all you will see:

    ILLEGAL ACCESS

    Thanks,

Illegal Access messages suggest that you're using files from an v1.2.x version of Zen Cart on a v1.3.x site.

    What contributions/addons have you installed?

I placed the files for Column Layout Grid v. 1.3.6 into my folders. After placing them I realized I am actually using Zen Cart v. 1.2.7. On my product listings I am getting "Illegal Access". I have tried replacing the correct files from v 1.2.7 over the v 1.3.6 files. I am still receiving the message. Any ideas or suggestions.

    Thanks,

    Wendy

Perhaps you left some "new" files installed that shouldn't be there?

You might have to evaluate everything manually to track down the extra or bad file(s):
