I repeat: If you'll use Express Checkout instead of relying on unreliable IPNs, you won't have those problems.

FINALLY heard back from our customer.
He checked out with PayPal Express from our website and paid via an existing PayPal account.
On another note...same issue happened again this morning. Absolutely nothing in any of the log files (with DeBug turned on).
One similarity I have noticed:
Normal Invoice ID: xxxx-xxxxxxxxxx-[NYBikerGear]
No Order Invoice IDs:
2-1301xxxxxx-[NYBikerGear] - 1st one (3/26)
3-1301xxxxxx-[NYBikerGear] - 2nd one (today)
Don't know if that is anything that matters, but I thought it was odd they both started with a single digit and the next 4 digits were identical, whereas a normal order invoice ID starts with 4 digits.
I'll finish that project tomorrow, I've made enough mistakes today!
Hi, I've been having the same problem on GoDaddy. I called them and they said they no longer require proxy on their site. So, I deleted the cUrl address and change required from true to false and the problem is now fixed for me. The orders are now showing up in my admin and via paypal. Hope this helps.
Ray
I forgot to say that I am using paypal payment standard and zencart v. 139h
